A small earthquake was reported Wednesday afternoon (April 6, 2011) at around 3:23 pm near Costa Mesa, CA.
The 2.2 temblar occurred about two miles northwest of central Costa Mesa and about two miles southeast of Fountain Valley. That's about 32 miles south of downtown Los Angeles.
A magnitude 2.2 temblar is so small that I didn't feel any ground motion.
